Good morning and welcome to our first challenge for July!  We are trying something a  bit new this month and instead of sketches, we are bringing you an entire month of inspiration photos.  Here is this week’s photo which is very appropriate for those in the US  given the holiday we are celebrating tomorrow:

And here a card from our guest designers who used this photo as a starting point for their inspiration:

 Laurel Seabrook

Laurel used Always Here and Pumpkin Seeds to create her cozy, homespun card.

Deb Felts

Deb used Home of the Brave on her very patriotic card- Love those fireworks!

The rest of the Design Team will be showcasing their cards tomorrow starting at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time in a super fun blog hop with the fantastic team from the Ribbon Carousel.  There are going to be some awesome prizes, so you will definitely want to stop back and hop with us!

Now it’s YOUR turn to create a new card or a paper crafted project using the inspiration photo as a guide.  You can use the colors, the theme, the prints, or any of the elements in the photo.  Simply post your project online and create a direct link back here using the inlinkz tool below.    In your post, be sure to link back here to Skipping Stones Design and include a sentence or two as to how the inspiration photo inspired your project (sometimes it’s not obvious).  You don’t even have to use Skipping Stones stamps on your project, but we love it when you do!!

Hope your week is off to a great start and we will see you back here tomorrow for even more inspiration!
