Hey you paper crafters our there. I am doing something brave and kinda hard for me to do. I decided to share my oil paintings with you. My oil paintings feel very personal to me. Others may express themselves with words and poetry, but I use my oil paints and brushes. Most of you know that I do all the designing for the stamps for Skipping Stones Design. I have so much fun sharing my sense of humor with all of you out there. Thank you for all the support you have shown the company through the years, I can’t tell you how much it means to me. So here is the first of several original oil paintings I want to share. This one was inspired by a Nat. Geographic photo of an Australian Beach. Some of you who know me very very well know that I dream of going to Australia. So maybe that is why the photograph resonated with me so strongly. Anyway it inspired me to do my first oil painting in about fifteen years. I did this one about a year ago and I haven’t been able to stop since. I’m not sharing all of them with you. I have a pile of “fails” that no one sees. But I am going to share some of my favorites with you. They are for sale…if you are interested in the price or possibly purchasing any of them please email my at madebyme33@hotmail.com. Here is “Untitled Ocean” I hope you enjoy it….

Wow, this is fantastic. I thought it felt like a painting of water before I read what you wrote – it just has that sense of vastness and peace.
