Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  Just a reminder that we are looking for  5 talented designers to add to our Design Team (DT) for the September 2012-February 2013 term.  Applications are due this Friday, July 27!

 

Selected designers will receive:

  • Posted bio and link to your blog from Skipping Stones Design.
  • Two free sets most months- new release + featured older set. New designers will also receive additional free sets for being selected to join the team.
  • Generous store discount on other sets that you would like to add to your collection.
  • Publication incentive- Get a project published (in print) using Skipping Stones stamps and you will earn two free sets of your choice!

In exchange for all this awesomeness, we ask our designers to:

  • Participate in biweekly sketch or inspiration challenges.
  • Create 1 card/project each month featuring new release set. This is in addition to the sketch/inspiration challenges.
  • Create and post tutorials/tips or featured project to be featured on store blog (one tutorial or featured project per month).
  • Visit blogs and leave comments for designers who participate in weekly challenges.
  • Promote Skipping Stones on your blog and via use of social media (facebook, twitter, pinterest, etc.) Each DT member must have a blog (a new blog is fine).

 

To be considered for our team, please submit 3 cards or projects (layouts, home décor, gifts) that you feel best represent your style. You do not have to use Skipping Stones Stamps in your application, but if you happen to own a set or two or several, please use them and show us what you can do with our awesome stamps. One of the cards you submit should be based on one of our sketches- let us know which one. You can find older sketches on our blog.  Attach photos of the cards/project (no larger than 300kb each) along with the following information in an email:

  • Your name
  • A link to your blog and other online galleries of your work
  • A little bit about yourself
  • Why do you want to work with Skipping Stones Design?
  • What is your favorite Skipping Stones stamp set and why?
  • Crafty accomplishments, past and upcoming publications- not required, but if you are accomplished, by all means, let us know.

 

Send your photos and information in an email toskippingstonesdt@gmail.com. You can also send any questions you have regarding the call to the same email. We will make every effort to respond to questions within 24 hours.  Don’t forget that applications are due this Friday, July 27.  If you are selected for the team, you will be contacted by Sunday, August 5, 2012.
