I’m here today to share a card that I used our Beautiful Botanicals stamp set (which is now back in stock) and I heat embossed it in white on some bristol paper. I like this paper because it’s a bright white as other watercolour paper is more of a cream colour. Bristol is not really used for a heavy watercolouring projects but I find that it does a great job for some of those smaller projects which you just want to add some colour.
I used a zip brush marker and added some colour to an acrylic block and used an aqua brush (has water stored in the barrel of the brush so you don’t need to add water from a dish) and went around the flowers applying the colour.
I heat set the water so it would dry faster and then I used a rectangle die to cut it out. I then adhered it to a piece of scrap paper I had that surprisingly matched it perfectly with liquid glue. Then I adhered that panel to the A2 size card base.
I stamped the sentiment with a black pigment ink and added a few sequins to finish off my card.
