Christmas Swirl ( Nov 7th ) Skipping Stones Design

Hello and welcome back, I hope all is well in the crafting world.  Today I have completed a card using the Christmas Swirl stamp.  This stamp set is so cute and the only colors i used was for the back ground on the card and the sentiment.  I did something a little different with this card.  I tried to use more than one stamped sentiment out of the pack.  I used one of the main sentiment ( May this season bring you peace joy and laughter ) and I also used the Joy and Peace.  So let take a look.

Now I could have done the whole background with the Joy & Peace but I wanted to give it a different look with just a half corner done with it.  This way I think everything is in the spot light .  The little bird was just toooooo pretty to have the busy words behind it.
I used a white card stock card base and stamped the Joy and Peace on one corner.
I than took a Ranger blending tool and laid down some Watermelon color ink.  I did not want the color to over  power the card so I did the Watermelon to give a washed out look.
With the bird I used Ranger Perfect medium and Rainbow embossing powder and heat with your heat gun.  Gives it just a little shine and glitter.
I took the sentiment and Ranger blending tool and gave it a little color of Mint Macaroon or you could use any kind of light green.
I added some white and gold string, than put the bird up in the other corner and gave the card a couple of red dots.
I love it very nice and not to busy.

Thank you so much for visiting, if you have any questions please let me know and as always Happy Crafting.
