I am so excited to see how many people entered our sketch challenge this week.  I am also thrilled to be giving you a sneak peek at a stamp set that has a very special place in my heart.  We will be releasing it for sale in two weeks time.  Here is an up close look at “always Here”

I am so excited to announce the sketch artist this month.  I have been oohing and ahhing over her cards for years.  You’ve seen them too, they regularly grace the pages,if not the covers, of your favorite magazines. I spend way too much time on her blog “Zany not crazy”.  She is one of the “Go~ to Girls” for PC magazine…..and she will be here sharing her inspiration all month long! Please help us welcome Maren Benedict!

Here is her first sketch… the girls had a ton of fun with it, and we know you will love it too!

Here is Maren’s take on the sketch….it reminds me of one of those big orange  harvest moons in the fall .  I think it’s absolutely gorgeous!

Now I have the pleasure of introducing you to two new guest and two returning guest.  all of whom are amazingly talented and sure to inspire!

Our second guest was one of the amazing designers who generously contributed to our fundraising efforts in “Hop(e) for Haiti” She has graced the covers, and pages of our favorite paper-crafting magazines.  I am So excited to have her joining us all month long. I am so excited to announce that both of our fabulous guest designers from last month came back for another month.  Here they are with their inspired creations based on Maren’s sketch.

Before I introduce the Stamp Tramps I’d like to mention we are having a DT call for our new term.  There are a few designers (below) who are hanging out with us for extra time as we look for the Newest Stamp Tramps. If you are interested in joining us check our SCS for all the benefits and expectations.  

I had a blast with Maren’s sketch and tried digital stamping for the first time…..I am still awaiting the arrival of our newest stamp set “Always Here” ~   I just couldn’t wait to use it, so I printed out the images on watercolor paper…..  I have SO much fun playing with the images. 

I Loved the sentiments that I had come up, with but I was having a hard time getting the look I wanted with the fonts etc.. So after struggling with the main quote for a week, I hired some talent to help me with the fonts/word art.  Krissy Ng , is an  amazing stamper and artist.  Check out her blog Sugar Buffet to learn more about her.  Come back during the week for more of a peek of “Always Here”

Here is Jingle who utilized “Timeless Textures” to create the sheet music on this card.  I didn’t even recognize it, she had stamped it so well, I though it was actual sheet music.

The Amazing Kim Kesti has done it again..

I am identifying with “coffee lady” at the moment.  I know my kids will be up in a few hours telling me I look like “that tired coffee lady stamp” and laughing their happy well rested heads off ;0)

I am loving Kim’s Bright cheerful colors!  This sketch and card have my fingers just itching to grab this stamp set and go to town with this sketch!!!

I was So bummed that I didn’t have a moments time to play with this sketch during the last 7 days.  It was just one of those week.  I  drove over 800 miles, visited with out of town family.  Then today I woke up with a migraine that kept me in bed.  I am still struggling to see and think straight. So please forgive me if this post is shorter than usually ;0)

 Apparently I was not the only one who’s crafting was sidetracked by life’s little curve balls. My design team this week is struggling with lack of interested service, sick children(4 and 2 legged), and other unexpected occurrences. However those who had smooth sailing this week came up with some pretty inspirational cards. 

We are going to start of the inspiration with Heidi Van Lar’s Card.  She is an  AMAZING guest designer who is sharing her inspiration with us this month. You can always find TONS-O-INSPIRATION on her blog Van Laar designs.  Just take a look at this card she made combining sketch 34 and “Dandelion Dreams”:

Now who wouldn’t Love that card?? You can’t help but smile, can you?

 Dina Kowal is back with more inspiration this week.  The card she made is even sweeter on the inside than the outside believe it or not.  She used “Buns and Crunches” for her  Daaaahhling creation:

Next we have my contribution.  I broke out the stamps from the NEW set “Holy Carp”.  That fish is So stinkin’ cute that he doesn’t even need to be colored in.  “Holy Carp” is the first stamp set where I hired another artist to design the images. Of course the sentiments, and  concept,  came from me and my goofball sense of humor.   I will be introducing  you to Jeff in a separate blog posting this week.

Please excuse the cat tail…It was the best picture I had managed on a rainy morning.  I didn’t realize Miss “nosey” had swished her tail at the last moment.  Of course, by then it was to dark out to get another decent picture.
